Call for abstracts for the Third Latin America Regional Congress

For Immediate Release: February 19, 2010

IRF is now accepting abstracts to be considered for presentation slots at its Third Latin American Regional Congress, being held September 20 – 23, 2010 in Bogotá, Colombia.

The abstract should include the objectives and the aim of the study, description of the techniques or methods used and a presentation of the results or conclusions in an informative and concise manner.

Abstracts are due no later than May 7th, 2010.

The congress will include presentations from the topics of road safety, pavement performance, Intelligent Transportation Systems, financing and tunneling. Other topics related to the road industry will also be discussed.

The first two days of the congress will consist of the themed tracks mentioned above, with the last two days of the congress consisting of smaller, technical ancillary workshops as part of an overall IRF training certification program.

An exhibition will also be showcased which will include upwards of 20-30 companies highlighting their products and services.
