IRF-Washington Chairman Presents GRAA Trophy at Celebration in Croatia
Brian T. Harris, Chairman, IRF-Washington, presented the 2007 IRF GRAA award in the Traffic Management and Intelligent Transportation Systems category to Predrag Balentovic, CEO of Telefon-Gradnja for their innovative work in complete traffic management subsystems integration. Balentovic invited Harris to make a special presentation of the GRAA at a celebration held on Dec. 7 in Zagreb, Croatia to launch the Telefon-Gradnja’s new brand name TELEGRA.
This signified the global mission of TELEGRA to expand outside of Croatia into Europe and other continents. Besides Europe, TELEGRA already has representative offices/projects in China, India and the United States.
Harris received a tour of TELEGRA’s new facilities and was given demonstrations of the in-house technical and production capabilities. “I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of this celebration,” said Harris. “Besides wonderful local food, wine and music, there was a very real appreciation of the significance of TELEGRA in the emerging world market. Mr. Balentovic was a gracious and generous host.”
The celebration was a huge success with customers, clients, competitors and related companies in attendance. Harris concluded, “The brand launching was a significant achievement and IRF is proud to have been a contributing factor in the success of TELEGRA as a world brand.”
