Wilbur Smith Associates is a 100% employee-owned, professional services corporation. Every employee, from the custodian to the president, is a proud owner. Our largest single stockholder owns only 1.7% of our stock. We're all in this together. Since the Firm operates under an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, each staff member has a vital interest in providing the best and most effective service, in order to ensure client satisfaction and corporate success.
The Company is organized on the basis of functional and geographic divisions. The Firm's staff resources can be assembled into various multidisciplinary teams to respond to many technical aspects of a large variety of project types. Local offices can utilize firmwide resources to provide full professional services.
WSA has more than 50 offices in the US, with five serving as regional offices: Columbia, South Carolina; New Haven, Connecticut; San Francisco, California; Houston, Texas and Chicago, Illinois. The Firm's other domestic offices are located strategically in 29 states throughout the US.
WSA first worked internationally when it conducted the London, England and Calcutta, India urban plans. Since then, we've worked in 117 countries and have more than 65 offices around the world.
