The Saudi Binladin Group (SBG), incorporated in 1989, stands today as the latest principal and independent organizational structure in the business long history which started in 1931 with Mohammad Binladin Organization (MBO) as a Saudi contracting company.
SBG identity is a turn-key builder/developer of special, large projects in infrastructure and buildings. Complimentary functions such as advanced technology, heavy industry, electromechanical and air-conditioning,
real estate, trade, tourism, transportation, mining, petrochemical works, as well as operation and maintenance services now comprise a substantial supporting part of the conglomerate’s overall work.
SBG is known for many prestigious accomplishments, chief amongst them are the Extensions of the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah. In 2005, SBG was awarded two IRF Global Road Achievement Awards for 775 km, 6-lane Al Qassim – Al Madinah – Yanbu – Rabigh Expressway.
