Roads Contractor Company LTD. (RCC)
The company, is one of three State-Owned Operational Entities (SOE's) established in accordance with the Roads Contractor Company Act, No 14 of 1999 and was borne from what used to be The Department of Works, in the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communication.
The Roads Authority (RA) and Roads Fund Administration (RFA) were the other two SOE's established at the time.
The RCC is Namibia's largest civil engineering company and has representation throughout the country. It is driven by its mandate to undertake work relating to its core business, the maintenance of the country's roads, according to the highest standard of generally accepted business principles.
To this end it has participated in a number of national projects which include the Heroes' Acre, rehabilitation of the Swakopmund Bridge, construction of the railways in the northern as well as the southern parts of the country.
