The REDA Group, (ISO 9001-2000) established in 1987 to manufacture Thermoplastic Marking Materials, has become one of the most active and creative highway safety groups in its field in the Middle East.
Initially manufacturing for Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Communications' requirements for road and highway infrastructure Kingdom-wide, the REDA Group now export products throughout the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Far East.

Reda Aluminium Road Studs
Reda Aluminium Road Studs have been designed and manufactured to withstand particularly difficult environmental and traffic conditions. The aluminum alloy used offers maximum impact resistance to vehicular traffic and spreads the impact load uniformally over the pavement surface. Theyare manufactured from aluminum ingots complying with BS 1490. The stud has one or two prismatic reflective faces as required to reflect incident light from a single directions or from both directions. Reda Aluminium Road Studs have a patented anti-twist shaft design to provide anti-torque movement of the stud whilst in service. They are affixed to the pavement surface by means of a hole drilled into the surface and filled with Reda Grouting Material in molten state prior to insertion.
Reda Thermoplastic Roadmarking
Reda Thermoplastic Reoadmarking is environmentally friendly consisting of 100% solids and containing no solvent.The material consists of a combination of light plasticised resin, aggregate pigment and extender, heated to around 200° - 220° C (if sprayed) which rapidly cools to road temperature. It is formulated to be applied by all leading makes of road marking machinery. Application can be in one of three ways: SCREED, SPRAY, or EXTRUSION. Formulation and application equipment varies with each method. REDA offers material and advice on equipment for all three.
Reda Bituminous Emulsions
Reda National Company produces all grades of cationic and polymer-modified bitumen emulsion conforming to ASTM D-2397, BS-434, etc. These emulsions are used for road construction and preventive road maintenance in such procedures as:
- Crack filling
- Tack Coat
- Slurry Seal
- Micro Surfacing
- Sand Seal
- Chip Seal
- Double Seal
- Triple Seal
- Cape Seal, etc.
Quick set grades of emulsions are also available upon request. While not yet standardized, their use is rapidly increasing.
Reda Two-Component Epoxy Adhesive
Reda Grouting compound is to be used with Reda Road Studs. It is a tropical grade filled bitumen.
