Hochtief PPP Solutions
With the goal of further expanding its concessions business, HOCHTIEF has bundled the existing business in Europe and South America in a separate company: HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions GmbH. The new company was founded with effect from January 1, 2005 and will process the ever more growing public-private partnership (PPP) market. The company replaces the Infrastructure Development unit which has so far belonged to HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung GmbH in organizational terms.
The concessions business mainly comprises PPP projects, i.e. the privately financed expansion and operation of public infrastructure. With its experienced product teams, HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions concentrates on two market segments: toll roads and public-sector building construction, also referred to as managed real estate. For these projects, HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions is the Group's leader in providing integrated solutions.
