Express Highway Research Foundation of Japan
Express Highway Research Foundation of Japan (EHRF) was established in 1957. At that time, there was no expressway in Japan.
Since then, Japan has seen a remarkable development in motorization, and 9,280km of national expressway network has been constructed. Development of expressway network has contributed a lot to the rapid progress of industry, economy and peopleĀfs life style.
The EHRF continued to advance studies and research, creating a significant body of knowledge and compiling many achievements.
The EHRF will continue to contribute to expressway development in Japan taking consideration the up-to-date research and study needs from the public.
