Roads
Roads make up 80% of the Group’s activity. This sector includes the construction of roads, highways, airports, automobile race tracks, etc. along with major industrial activities.
In 2006, Colas produced:
- 113 million tons of aggregates
- 1.5 million tons of emulsions and binders
- 54.7 million tons of asphalt mix

Colas boasts more than 62,000 employees, half of whom work outside of France.
In 2006, Colas posted turnover totaling some €10.7 billion. Net profit Group share totaled €396 million.
