Better Roads - Better Life
The International Road Federation has lost nothing of its importance since its creation in 1948. Road are still the most important infrastructure element in today’s market economy. For the last six decades, the IRF has advocated for more, better and safer roads worldwide. Over the years the core message has remained consistent: roads are essential for the health of the world economy, providing the ability for goods and people to get to where they need to be. Well aware of the negative effects roads may have on the environment and on the safety, we contribute to finding solutions to these challenges. We believe that well planned, well built and well operated roads enhance the quality of life of people.
As an international not-for profit, non-governmental organization, IRF is committed to helping the world community on the future challenges regarding the road industry.
For our members, the IRF offers a unique international platform creating business opportunities. We help our members to have their fingers on the pulse of the road construction industry at a national and especially an international level and to contribute meaningfully to the international agenda.
